Have you noticed anything unusual about the cover for Black Mountain? You might need to know your Welsh mountains to spot this...
Well, actually, that isn't the Black Mountain! I know, disappointing, isn't it? But that's as close as I could get it without having to spend the whole winter camped out on the mountain itself, waiting for the right conditions (and I don't have a good enough camera anyway).
But it is a good match. The stock image is of one of its near neighbours in the Bannau Brycheiniog (formally Brecon Beacons) National Park of south Wales. And doesn't it look incredible!
If you are longing to see an actual image of the Black Mountain, though, go no further than the one in my bio on my website. Yes, that's it in the background. I hope one day you have the privilege of walking over its spectacular slopes.
